The Travel Cabin is operated by Grant Corporation. The current site does not offer public accounts, comments, or direct messages. Community features shown on the roadmap will not open until their privacy and moderation controls are ready.

What the current site records

Standard server logs can record an IP address, browser information, requested page, and time for operations and security. Our own first-party measurement records page views and clicks to guides, YouTube, and merchant links with campaign labels. The event file does not intentionally store a visitor name, email address, full IP address, or advertising identifier.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4, a web measurement service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site. It measures page views, scrolling, clicks to guides, merchant links, and other outbound links, video engagement, site search, file downloads, and form interactions, along with general device, browser, referral, and approximate location information. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions. Our first-party measurement described above continues alongside Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google describes how it uses this information in the Google Privacy Policy.

Video embeds

Guide pages use privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds from youtube-nocookie.com. The player is not set to autoplay. YouTube may process information after you choose to play or interact with a video under its own policies.

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you follow a product link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Amazon controls the data collected on its site. Future booking partners will be disclosed in the guide where they appear.

Future community features

Before profiles, albums, comments, or follows launch, this policy will be updated with account, moderation, retention, deletion, image-metadata, and safety details. Direct messages are not part of the first community release.
